I wanted to know what you guys have in mind for wrist tattoos. What I want is to have meaning behind it, the meaning being about me overcoming this pain i’ve dealt with for too long. I’m letting myself be happy and I’m letting myself love who i am. I want one of those two word phrases/quotes , one word on each wrist.

my ideas so far:

(all of these ideas are facing me on my wrists)

Love on the left wrist (for TWLOHA, you know, love is the movement) and Hope on the right right (H.O.P.E. hold on pain ends.) Both would be in this beautiful black cursive writing .

Breathe on my left wrist and Easy on my right wrist. Both in simple pretty cursive (not as big as the first idea) To me, this would mean “calm down, just breathe. it’s easier than you think. relax, everything will be okay.” something like that, it’s hard to explain.

Just on my left wrist and Breathe on my right wrist. (Same simple pretty cursive as the last one.) This tattoo idea is generally the same as the last idea, only it technically means, “stop for a second. close your eyes, take a breath. just breathe. nothing else. just breathe. because that means you’re alive. and you’ve got something to live for.”

Free on my left wrist and Yourself on my right wrist. (pretty cursive, more bolded than the last two fonts.) it really means that i’ve been through a lot. It means that finally, i’m not going to let it hurt me anymore, i’m going to let myself be free and let myself be happy. it means that i’m okay with my past but i’m going to learn from it and overcome it. i’m going to free myself from all of the harm and misery i went through.
